2019 Ossabaw Island Pig Roast & Art Auction held on Ossabaw Island.

THE DAY’S EVENTS: Travel by boat to Ossabaw Island at your scheduled boat time. Walk from Ossabaw Island’s North End Dock to the Torrey West Estate (about a 20 minute walk). Enjoy specialty cocktails on the lawn and meander through the ground floor of the 10,000 square foot Torrey West home. View and bid on a silent auction of Ossabaw-inspired artwork. The Pig Roast and Picnic, prepared by Roger Parker and by Epting Events of Athens, Georgia is served on the lawn from 12pm – 2:15pm, followed by a brief live auction and remarks from The Ossabaw Island Foundation. The silent auction wraps up 15 minutes after lunchtime remarks. Music by Ben & Robbie, and by Bob & Judy Williams. Transportation will be provided to the North End dock in time for your return boat. Note that Sandy West will not attend the 2019 Pig Roast.

We will email to you information about the event about ten days before the Pig Roast, including driving instructions to Delegal Creek Marina, the departure point for the boats to Ossabaw Island.

Ticket Price: $195 each.

Please remember that part of the adventure is the journey. These guidelines will help the day be more enjoyable.

WEATHER: The Pig Roast & Art Auction, a mostly-outdoor event, will take place RAIN or SHINE.

ATTIRE: “Oyster Roast” casual attire. Walking shoes recommended. Please dress for the temperature and weather.

TICKETS AND BOAT TIMES: The Pig Roast is a “ticketless” event. Once your tickets are purchased, the buyer’s name will be entered on the event roster for the boat time selected. Please adhere to the boat time that’s printed on your receipt. We ask that you check in 15 minutes before your boat time. There are no “extra” places on any boat times; guests who arrive for an earlier boat than scheduled, both in the morning (traveling to Ossabaw) and in the afternoon (returning to the mainland), will be asked to wait for their scheduled boat time.

RETURNING BOAT PROCEDURE: You will select your returning boat time at the Pig Roast check in table at Delegal Marina on the morning of the Pig Roast. Selection is first come, first serve.
