2022 Cinco de Mayo Celebration at Plant Riverside District

Plant Riverside District will host a special Cinco de Mayo event featuring live music by LPT, a Jacksonville, Fla.-based 10-piece Afro-Cuban salsa orchestra. Widely considered the “ambassadors of Salsa and Afro-Cuban music in the Southeast,” LPT will deliver a high-energy performance in Montgomery Park. A live DJ will close out the night with music that’s perfect for dancing along the riverwalk. This event is free and open to the public.Savannah Tequila Co., a popular restaurant at Plant Riverside District, will serve a wide range of authentic Mexican food and drink, offering indoor and outdoor dining for Cinco de Mayo. Home to the region’s most extensive selection of premium tequilas, mezcals and agave spirits, Savannah Tequila Co. will feature Mexican dishes and Cinco de Mayo specialty cocktails in addition to an extensive selection of handcrafted margaritas, sangrias, frozen cocktails, domestic and Mexican beers, wine and Jarritos fruit sodas.
