Each year, the YMCA of Coastal Georgia celebrates Healthy Kids Day, the Y’s national initiative to improve the health and well-being of kids and families. For over 25 years, Healthy Kids Day has celebrated kids health and continues to teach healthy habits for kids and families, encourage active play, and inspire a lifetime love of physical activity.

To kick off the start of summer, all of our YMCA branches are hosting Healthy Kids Day events on May 5th to help kids stay healthy and achieving all summer long! Not only will we be opening our pools for the summer season, but we’re hosting lots of fun events and activities across Coastal Georgia, open to everyone in our communities.

Effingham YMCA: 10 am  – 1 pm

Golden Isles & McIntosh YMCA: 11 am – 1 pm

Habersham YMCA: 10 am  – 1 pm (Special thanks to sponsor David Pence with Allstate Insurance)

Islands YMCA: 10 am – 2 pm

Liberty County/ Armed Services YMCA: 11 am  – 2 pm

Richmond Hill YMCA: 11 am – 2 pm

Statesboro Family YMCA: TBD

Tybee Island YMCA: 11 am – 2 pm (April 28th)

West Chatham YMCA: 10 am – 1 pm
