If you are in the mood for something a little different, then this restaurant is for you! Himalayan Curry Kitchen is a locally owned restaurant specializing in traditional Indian cuisine. The chef/owner, born in Panipat India, takes the memory and comforts of the food he grew up eating in his Grandfather’s restaurant and keeps the those tastes alive in their menu. Your palate will delight in a variety of options including, vegan, vegetarian, and gluten free; as well as many protein choices such as chicken, fish, shrimp, goat and lamb. If you are new to Indian cuisine and worried about the food being “too hot to handle” never fear! Each dish is made to order for guests, and can be crafted as: mild, medium or spicy. There is even a small kid’s menu, utilizing some of their most popular ingredients, yet making them a little more friendly to the non-adventurous eaters, one of the favorites being the naan bread pizza.
They are open six days a week, Tuesday through Sunday, with a lunch service that runs from 11:30-3pm, closing for a short break, and then dinner service from 4pm – 9:30pm. They offer dine-in, carry out, as well as catering specials, and have partnered with several different delivery services in the area to bring their delicious offerings directly to you! New to Indian Cuisine? Their most popular curry dishes are Butter Chicken, Chicken Tikka Masala, Lamb Bhuna, and Shrimp Stew. Other favorites are Samosas, Rice Bowls like Biryani (Rice and meat cooked together), Fried rice and Peas Pulao. Don’t be afraid to ask questions staff is very friendly and welcoming. They have plenty of vegan, vegetarian and gluten free options as well.
