February 18, 2019 @ 2:00 pm - 3:30 pm
An event every week that begins at 2:00 pm on [day], repeating until May 27, 2019
Each week, Fort McAllister offers a program for elementary school aged children, ideal for homeschoolers and campers. The programs alternate between Ecology and History themed lessons. Themes include dying fabrics from natural dyes, learning about the daily life of a soldier, and civilians during the Civil War, and learning about different historical figures. The Eco Explorers Club will teach the children about ecology and stewardship through exploration and observation. Other topics include orienteering, building a survivor shelter, and conservation.
